Volunteer
There are two ways to participate in the California Student Media Festival as a volunteer:
as a Judging Site Coordinator and as a Festival Day Volunteer.
Become a Judging Site Coordinator
California teachers can volunteer as judging site coordinators to judge submissions and select winners. Coordinators recruit local educators, district leaders, administrators or educational non-profit members to help judge the projects assigned to them by the festival leadership team. All judging occurs online and usually takes place over a two week period in the Spring.

Become a Festival Day Volunteer
The awards ceremony for the California Student Media Festival is an exciting day dedicated to honoring the hard work of winning students, teachers and their families. However, it is also a day almost entirely run by volunteers!
